Lakeview

Lakeview recreation area is a day-use park on the southeast portion of the lake. This nice little park is located just south of the DeGray Lake State Park. There are picnic tables and a pavilion within the park. The lake views are somewhat blocked by all the pine trees within the park.  When we visited this park, it was a bit over grown and not as well maintained as some of the other parks.

If you want a fun little day use park that is away from some of the busier parks, Lakeview recreation area is a decent choice.   Unfortunately, there is not a designated swim beach area in the park. There is no boat ramp within the park.  The Highway 7 Area is a much better day-use park and it is only a short distance north of the Lakeview Area.

Have fun and enjoy DeGray Lake!
